How do I start a Room?
1. Tap the microphone button in your House.
2 Tap or slide the live audio button to the right of the microphone to select the live room option.
3. Tap again to reveal the setup options for the room.
4. Add a room title, decide if replays and chat will be on, etc.
5. Tap the green start room button at the bottom to go live.
How many rooms can take place at one time?
An unlimited number of rooms can be open in your House at once!
What are House Events?
House Events allow House admins to schedule specific events with a title, date, time, cohosts, and a description that invitees can RSVP to. These events can be shared with other House members.
How do I schedule a new House Event?
When you first create a House, you’ll be prompted to schedule your first event - but you can schedule more any time you want by following the steps below:
To create a House Event:
1. From the House settings, tap Create event.
2. Enter your new event details (ie: event name, date, time, a discussion topic, etc).
3. Indicate whether you’d like replays on or off by toggling.
4. Tap Create and Share.
From here, you’ll be able to select how you’d like to share your newly scheduled event. Choose from a selection of apps to share through, grab a unique link, or invite your contacts!
How do I edit or cancel a House Event?
Plans change, and we want to make sure you have the flexibility to update your conversations as you need to! House admins have the ability to update or cancel their events if the need arises.
To edit a House Event:
1. Tap the three-dot menu at the top right of the created Event.
2. Tap Edit event
3. Edit your event details as needed.
4. Tap Save changes.
Your event details should be updated! If you change your event date or time, your attendees will receive notifications to let them know!
To cancel a House Event:
1. Tap the three-dot menu at the top right of the scheduled Event.
2. Tap Remove event.
Once you’ve successfully canceled your Event, invite links to folks who have Clubhouse accounts will link back to the House. If your attendees aren’t on Clubhouse yet, when they click the invitation link they’ve received, they’ll be alerted that the event is no longer available and will be invited to download the app.
How many House Events can I schedule at one time?
You can schedule up to 5 events at one time.
How do I RSVP to a House Event?
Once you’ve been invited to a Scheduled Conversation, you can RSVP directly from the House hosting the event.
To RSVP to a House Event:
1. From the House Wall, tap the RSVP button.
2. Select an attendance status.
When you’ve indicated that you will attend, or that you’re interested, you’ll see the option to invite more people to join the conversation!
Can people who are not members of a House RSVP and attend House Events?
No. Only House members can enter rooms created by the House.
Can House Rooms be Public?
No. House Rooms are only visible to House members.
What are Replays?
Replays are recordings of your room. They can only be enabled by the person who creates the room, and they’re only available for download by that person.
How do I turn on Replays?
You’ll turn on replays when you schedule a room.
To enable replays:
1. Follow the steps to create a scheduled event.
2. Toggle the Replays option on.
