What are VMs?
VMs are asynchronous private voice messages that you send to one person or a group of people, instead of public asynchronous messages that you might send in a House or to your more public friends feed.
Can I see my VMs in my feed?
No - you’ll see your VMs in messages by tapping the speech bubble at the bottom left of your app navigation. You’ll receive notifications for them and you can see updates in your activity feed.
You - and your friends - can see the last 5 people you've had VMs with from your profile in the recently chatting with section.
Can I add someone to a VM?
Now you can add another friend to your private voice messages.
Just tap the three-dot menu in the top right of the chat viewer, then tap "Add Members" to bring more friends into the chat and keep the conversation going.
- Add members to VMs with 3+ friends or any VM created from the new center tab.
- New Members are notified when they're added.
- New Members cannot see the previous chat history.
- VM creators can remove members, and you can always leave a chat you don't want to be in.
